# The inbox: cases by view

> Cases are the bridge's exceptions as units of work: opened by code
from warnings that name a subject, from standing rejections in the
partner overview and from open Wiedervorlagen; closed by an operator
with an outcome, or by code when the condition behind them is gone.
``open`` is everything not done; the other views are one status each
(``improvements``: open cases of category ``improvement``). Every case
carries ``stale`` (open for more than 7 days); the response the counts
per view.

Internal API of the n:lead scheduling bridge: the process endpoints that
drive the day-ahead pipeline (aggregate, publish the open position, submit
schedules, generate forecasts, orchestrate), the operator console endpoints,
and the read-only operator-app endpoints under /v1/mobile. The process and
console endpoints require the process API key, /v1/mobile a device key of
the mobile scope; not for customer use.
